WHAT’S NEXT

The QEII’s surgical robotics program currently treats certain patients living with kidney, prostate, gynecologic and ear, nose and throat (ENT) cancers.

Plans are underway to expand the program for even more QEII patients who could benefit from this innovative surgical approach, including the addition of another surgical robot – the second only in Canada – dedicated to orthopaedic surgeries.
